FLIGHT 621 MEMORIAL

Air Canada Flight 621 Memorial:  This memorial, which was unveiled on July 7, 2013, is a short drive to the west from the Gore Road. It honours the 109 people who died at this site, on what was then Lot 9 Conc 9 of Toronto Gore, when Air Canada Flight 621 crashed July 5, 1970.

To visit the Memorial Garden, turn west onto Pannahill from the Gore Road (Pannahill is just north of Cottrelle). When you reach a T- intersection, turn north (right) onto Degrey Drive. You will see Purple Lilac Park on your left. If you walk 50 paces to the west past the playground, you will reach the Memorial Gardens.
